ArtRatio delivered a customised smart glass table to the Nationalmuseum of Sweden in Oct 2018. The table houses the oldest items in the museums collection: 15th century Books of Hours which normally would not be exhibited due to their light sensitivity.


LAPADA 2017 Conference - Westminster Palace

Albeit for one day, ArtRatio had the great privilege of installing our demo smart glass table at the LAPADA 2017 Conference, which was held in the House of Lords, Westminster Palace, London.


St Johns College Library, Oxford University

ArtRatio loaned a smart glass table to St. John’s College for 3 months in 2017 in order to ascertain light exposure levels for the library special collections.


Wooden Inclined Smart Glass Table for Private Collector

In 2016, ArtRatio delivered a customised smart glass table to a private collector based in London to house an original antique map portraying the 1815 Battle of Waterloo. The map was drawn up after the battle.


Art Business Conference 2016 - London

ArtRatio exhibited a demo smart glass table at the Art Business Conference 2016 in London. Our CEO, Manoj Phatak also had the pleasure of addressing 350 delegates from the art world on issues central to art conservation and smart glass technology.
Waterloo Map - Lit


Royal Engineers Museum, UK

ArtRatio partnered with Armour Systems to deliver a smart glass frame to reduce light damage on the original map of the 1815 Battle of Waterloo. Since the original pencil markings of the 1st Duke of Wellington, which are still present on the map, are a friable medium, and susceptible to lift-off from static, the frame was designed to minimise this risk.

ArtRatio exhibited a 2-volume book by 18th century Spanish author, Antonio José Cavanilles in a smart glass table at the Archaeological Museum of Alicante, Spain.

Original Torres Guitar from 1888

ArtRatio supplied a smart glass case to the Spanish Guitar Museum to protect an original Torres guitar, hand-made in 1888. The item is from a private collection.


The Royal Town Charter of Pinoso

ArtRatio conducted light measurement levels on the Royal Town Charter for the Spanish Town Council of Pinoso (Alicante). The Charter was signed by King Ferdinand VII of Spain.
